That has been so easily overlooked.
Pakistan has already stated if America tries to carry out any more unauthorized raids
against suspected terrorists, there would be disastrous consequences.

Obama has already involved the US in Libya. We have
two other unfinished wars. If this "mission" had gone
badly, we might have added another country to the
war list.

Do you support Pakistan and condone its actions?

Really? I thought he was weak, a "pantywaist", etc. Just like when he had those pirates killed, all of a sudden he goes from weak to a "blood thirsty maniac". Dizzy yet?

What actions? Pakistan has stated this:

"The Pakistan security forces are neither incompetent nor
negligent about their sacred duty to protect Pakistan" -
Foreign Sec. Bashir

Pakistan has firmly denied allegations that security
forces were harboring Bin Laden.

Easy argument for the US now, to state Pakistan
must have known Bin Laden was there, while
negating the fact, we didn't even have a clue where Bin
Laden was for over 10 years.
And, no one has given any evidence to prove
the "Pakistan knew" argument.
At least, I haven't heard one.

Pakistan and the U.S. are still friends. But cut the
purse strings. Oh wait, that's the only way
they will be our friend

PS. Indian intelligence had shared Osama's whereabouts in 2007 (and again in 2008), indicating his presence near Islamabad, no Bush administration involvement there.

In response to the indian intelligence, first I've heard of it. Did they give an address or simply suggest we do a house to house search of some 2 million pakistani's homes?

................“According to current and former administration officials, CIA interrogators gathered the initial information that ultimately led to bin Laden’s death,” Mr. Yoo said.

In an interview with Time magazine, the former director of the CIA’s counterterrorism center, Jose Rodriguez, said the first important leads about Kuwaiti came from alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) and Abu Farraj al-Libbi, the third-ranking Al Qaeda leader at the time of his capture. Both men were interrogated at secret CIA “black sites,” where Mr. Mohammed was subject to waterboarding 183 times.

“Information provided by KSM and [Mr. Libbi] about bin Laden’s courier was the lead information that eventually led to the location of the compound and the operation that led to his death,” Mr. Rodriguez is quoted as saying...........

If you're asking me I'd say mr obama made a good decision on this incident but on the whole he generally does lead from behind. He was a far better candidate than he will ever be as president.
