I completely comprehend your point, the contradiction still stands. Saying someone is "somewhat socialistic" is basically idiotic when you preface it by saying that he's in the pocket of big money. You've admitted that you don't really know what's at stake in the conversation though, so there's that much.
Again, if you can't understand the intent of my argument, you shouldn't be trying to prove me wrong.
Yours should for sure! I know now that you never read Das Kapital and only like to act like you read it. I asked you a question about volume 3 and you just ignored and I do thank you for that and for proving to every person here that you are nothing but a phony.
Yes, people make all kinds of claims on the 'net. Often it's easy to tell when they're phonies, because their posts reveal through linguistics, content and style that they aren't proficient in that area. I would never attempt to say that I've been steeped in economics, knowing that others would be able to tell by my pitiful posts that I'd fibbed. Wapasha provided a link to Book 3, which I for one actually read. No doubt a few others did as well. But Das Kapital is simply a small part of trying to make sense of political theories which often overlap, or have evolved in practice far differently than their originators intended.

A Marxist, c'mon. Obama is the same thing as Bush, a Fascist. Oh, btw, my ideology is Left, I'm just not a liberal, progressive, democrat, socialist or a communist. Furthermore, I hold NO allegiance to any specific political party.
That's refreshing!
We may not agree on anything at all, but I appreciate your ability to think for yourself and not just spew the rhetoric of a political party.
Blind allegiance to dogma without critical analysis is what's killing American politics today.
Then it's odd that he's so popular in other countries, who think that the Republicans have gone mad. He was bad juju for Osama though, and he didn't have to rely on voodoo dolls or St. John the Conquerer root.
The reason he got Osama, is because Bush laid the ground work that Obama's admin has been trying to unravel. He just got lucky, this time it was Bush's Fault! LOL

The fact that people are trying to place credit on one president or the other as some form of competition or political banter, for Osama's capture, I think, shows how much we've fallen as a country.

Nope, the fact is, just as I stated... Obama benifited from what Bush started.
Illinois: Three NP-members won Democratic primaries last Spring and face off against Republican opponents on election day: Danny Davis (U.S. House), Barack Obama (State Senate) and Patricia Martin (Cook County Judiciary).
In 1996 Obama was a member of a Chicago socialist organization called the New Party.
