An Imam speaks: "It's racism and bias because of our religion and appearance and because of misinformation about our religion." Rahman said. "If they understood Islam, they wouldn't do this."
When our understanding of the Islamic faith, is formed in the inhuman basics of evil people like Bin Laden, Al Zarqawy and Sadaam Hussein,
what greater measure of respect do you think that we would give to you?
Have you not ever heard that a leopard cannot change it's spots?
The Captain is the Security Coordinator in charge of the safety of each passenger on his plane.
He can kick off anyone he pleases and does not have to answer squat to anyone...Not Even His Boss!!! That's the law!!! End of story!!!
BTW: There's a very good reason the passengers were concerned and the Captain turned the plane around.....the news isn't covering that part, but you can bet these "IMAMS" were hot to scream racisism '"from a telephone at the Mempis Airport".
If you spend a lot of time dealing with passengers, you'll find about 50% of the muslims decked out in full islamic dress draw attention to themselves, enjoy seeing americans squirm around them and push the limits of everyone from Gate agents, to flight attendants, to pilots, to fellow passengers.
No I understood what the issue is. I'm fairly certain that recognized religions are a protected class under the Civil Rights Act (regarding employment).
I suppose it may not be illegal, but it's certainly not right. It'd be like Ryder not renting trucks to white veterans.
Great idea, but let's restrict the denial of service to "white veterans" accompanied by Hussain Hashem al-Hussaini, aka John Doe #2.
But that is the thing, what if this is the one time, you let them on, and then something were to happen, i say still better safe after 9/11 then sorry once again. This is more about keeping Americans safe, then hurting others feelings. If 9/11 did not happen, i could understand, but it did, and we have to protect ourselves from this happening again.

Considering they boarded another plane and made it to their destination without incident what does that tell you?
