What the Euro does has to do with the price of oil in Europe.

What the US dollar does has to do with the price of oil in the US.

If people were dumping dollars in favor of Euros, the Euro would rise in relation to the dollar.

Also remember, we are constantly printing more worthless paper money which further devalues the existing money supply.

The price of a gallon of gasoline is at $3.98 as of Friday May 6 (2011). And it’s only going higher. The price will likely hit $4 a gallon sometime soon, despite a big drop in the price of oil, and head toward record highs soon after.

You read that right – record highs. When Obama took over in January 2009, gas was a "mere" $1.84 a gallon. Now, "mere" is what’s left in our wallets after filling up.

And it’s all deliberate.

It’s not your standard lefty war “about oil” conspiracy. There’s no grand cabal pumping up gas prices to the point where ordinary Americans can’t afford to drive.

No. High gas prices are the natural result of a series of decisions by the Obama administration that are geared to hiking the cost of fuel, limiting how much we drive and controling one more asepct of Americans’ lives. Obama isn’t the only factor. Mideast politics, wars – including Obama’s new one in Libya– and global demand all have impact, too.

Obama; making gas cost the same as in 2008. THE MAN GOT SKILLZ.
If my memory serves me right, when it was $4 a gallon in 2008 Bush got the heat, this is part of being the head of the country. It goes with the territory, something bad happens, the Pres has to take the blame, something good, he gets credit.

Let's also remember which few mention: oil was at $140 plus a barrell, now it is barely over $100. Or is was until it went below $100 the end of last week.

So Obama is irrelevant to the highest gas prices we have ever seen?

Nothing he can do to impact gas prices?

He has now fulfilled his campaign promise of causing energy prices to necessarily skyrocket. If he can cause prices to go higher he can cause them to go lower.

Wait until Trump calls him out again on oil prices.

The great inheritor is finally deemed powerless by his minions. Never thought that day would come.

There's a lot the president can do. When prices reached $4.00 a gallon in 2008, GW rescinded a long-standing executive order prohibitting off-shore drilling. That was enough to drive down oil prices. In other words when the US gets serious about developing our own energy resources prices will plummet and stay low indefinitely.

If only he had reigned in the credit card companies and banks. If he had, they would not have to try numorous/new different ways to get money from the idiot masses.

Since he hasn't, I guess they haven't had to change the way they charge people for credit.

Oh...wait a second....nevermind.

Don't you get it? Obama has nothing to do with anything bad that happens, but solely responsible for the good stuff. Now get with the program!!
