I think you have been confused about regulations and rules. Some are to prevent fraud and wasted taxpayer dollars.

Privately paid for abortions are not effected. Only those using taxpayer dollars as their birth control.
Well, then few should be affected, as no federal funds can be used for abortion, except in very extenuating circumstances.

Because you know, 2010's elections were all about the need for smaller government. And what we liberals just don't understand is that more government regulation of abortion is a type of smaller government.

Wait what? That doesn't make sense...
Bascially the biggest win for republicans was the massive gians i state legislatures in mid term elction.State houses are red than ever.

Sounds like they are just restating in a clear manner as opposed to the fuzzy words on the books.

How is that anti-abortion ? A woman can still get an abortion and pay for it herself as long as it's done in the first trimester. BTW..the exceptions for rape or health emergency are still in place.
Lets face it, many just read into articles what they want or depend of the views of one side or the other to influence them.

I agree with you, the bill is just clarifying what we already have in place. As for any abortion after the 1st trimester, if a woman chooses that route no way should be expected to help her pay for one.

and this is the main reason I am opposed to introducting lots of bills and laws, what starts out to be one thing gets out of hand. The two examples, yes, abortion. When Reagan signed into law, in Ca the abortion bill it was meant to be limited to girls under 14, rape or insest and the mothers life or health at stake, and yes, only the first trimester. Well immediately wormen were getting shinks to varify her mental health was involved. And we all know what happened from there. As for amnesty, a similar story. It was meant to help El Salvadorians who had excaped their country and come here but it soon became a total nightmare.
