Colbert is a Rightie! He admires Pawlenty and has a very good motto, "I believe our nation is the most american country the United States has ever known".
Colbert is a funny and very intelligent guy although when I watch his show I get a little tired of him dumbing it down to get more viewers. He needs to quit aiming for the lowest common denominator( Stewart can have those people) and get back his edge.
I'd call him a genius( maybe thats a stretch) and a master at comedic commentary but when he acts like a clown it hurts his image.
