This is the same race that has been Republican for 20 years. Ads attacking Jane Corwin for her vote on the Paul Ryan Budget Plan have proven very effective. Thank you Paul Ryan!!!

I've been on to Madcow's intellectual scam since 2008 when she tried to bust on Palin for criticizing fruit fly research which, according to braintrust, could lead to a cure for autism. Rachel didn't do her homework then either because the fruit flies in question were not the species used for medical research. Minor details I suppose. So now we're supposed to cheer mindlessly for her because she pretends she has a clue?

The Maddow show is a spoof site in itself.

I realize that most of what she does is just a parody of actual political commentary, and I also realize that with that perpetual sneer she doesn't believe anything she says, she's just laughing ( at her viewers) all the way to the bank. I get that. Keith Olbermann was similar except that he just hated people and was glad to be able to lash out at some of them and get paid to do it. Bill Maher's the same way( and then some), David Letterman is too to a lesser extent. At least she's not a complete sycophant like Chris Matthews who humiliates himself on a regular basis. But how does MSNBC stay viable with an extremely limited viewer base and one that probably doesn't spend any money? You make clever comments and jokes and people tune in to laugh even if they don't get whats really going on, thats Comedy Central's shtick. That at least gets viewers and makes money. But MSNBC has got to be a drain on GE even if they pay zero taxes.

True, true.

I'd really like to see which red states will be turning blue.

Show me one swing state that doesn't have obama underwater.
