Riiiiiiiiiiiight!

Which is why California Republicans....some of the MOST conservative Republicans in the country (a dirty little Republican secret), ran Davis out and put this guy in....cuz he's "anything but conservative." Right?

Yea...they INTENTIONALLY put a RINO in office! Yep. They sure did.

WRONG!!! He's as conservative as conservative comes. Don't start backtracking now. Keep claiming him the way you guys did on the night he won that recall election!! You loved him then...so love his sorry ass now.

My friend's wife cheated on him and was a scumbag. He got all the kids AND child support from her.

Of course, she never pays it. And he's glad. She doesn't ever see her kids, either. And he's glad for that, as well. He considers it an even trade. The few times she's made promises to see her kids, she inevitably didn't show up and the kids were sad. Then they learned to be indifferent. Then they just didn't give a d*m* any more. And that makes him sad, believe it or not. He wants the mother to be a good mom and be a part of his kid's lives...but that's not reality, so he takes it the way it is.

I should have written spouses instead of wives.

Obviously, you know nothing about Conservatives.

As everyone has been quick to point out when it suits them, Maria is a Kennedy. She does not need compensation from anyone. Everything is not about money. Honor, respect, love, and fidelity should be what a marriage is about, but Arnold must not know that.

Guess your selective memory overlooked: Clinton, Ted and John Kennedy, Edwards, Spitzer, McGreevey, Hart, Condit, et al.
Were any of these people you listed busy criticizing others for the same behavior they were concurrently undertaking, such as Newt or Craig did?

Look...he was conservative enough to get the full backing of the Republican establishment to run Gray Davis out of office. Republicans across the damn country were absolutely ECSTATIC over his election. I remember the night quite well. I remember the gloating, and the whole treacherous scheme behind the recall. So chill with the revisionism.

You guys have this wierd habit of electing people, and when they screw up bad enough, completely disavowing that you ever supported them. It's bullsh*t, and i'm calling you guys out on it. Republicans are now doing it with Bush, and i'm calling Repubs out on that too. You all supported these people tooth and nail, and the least you can do is admit it.

Arnold is a conservative Republican....that's all there is to it. If he wasn't, California Republicans and the Republican establishment of the RNC could've and would've put up another candidate. And i didn't hear ANYWHERE in Republican circles about him not being conservative enough to get the job at that time.

Claim him. He's yours. Deal with it.

They wanted a candidate who could win, for once. The moderate vs. conservative civil war within the CA GOP is one of the reasons for its decline into irrelevancy. Arnold ran as a centrist and made no pretensions of not being a centrist. He got MANY Democratic votes both times he ran. He even campaigned in heavily Dem areas including Latino areas and black areas.

For once, the conservatives in the CA GOP were willing to "compromise purity" for the sake of "victory".

The irony is that when CA was a very Republican state it was dominated by moderates (mostly from the then very Republican Bay Area) but traditional California Repubs are now referred to as "RINOs". Many of those old school CA Repubs are Dems or independents now.

Each of us can seem like the nciest of people. Get people behind closed doors, relly get to know them, things can suddenly change. I am sad when ever a couple breaks up after so long a marriage. Somehow, this one, i just did not see staying together.
I wish them luck together or each going their separate ways which ever is going to work out for them.
I wish everyone happiness no matter what their happiness is.

Arnold sort of vered off course, know what i mean, a person can only put up with so much.
