Averaging all of the polls is always better than relying on one pollster (in 08 averaging all of the polls was within .3 of the final result)

I see another lesson is in order.

Notice - Rasmussen EQUALS 100%. Outside of the ridiculous AP poll, how much do the others EQUAL?

91, 96, 89,93, 92, 97, 94, 95, 94.

See how that works?

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports™

After climbing several points following Osama Bin Laden's death, BO seems once again drawn like a moth to the flaming sh*t heap of failed presidents. The freebie approval points provided by the brave men and women of our armed forced and intelligence agencies as well as past leadership of President Bush appears to be shaping up as a short-lived exercise in misassigned credit.

Probably should have waited to shoot the campaign commercial at ground zero.
Week to week polls are pointless. Its like trying to predict the weather for next week.

Honestly, Rasmussen is a very biased poll, he's admitted that his polling methods constrain the data by preventing non traditional voters from voting in his polls.

For instance, most voters are old white people, pretty much everyone knows that. So Rasmussen will poll 70% of its people from that group.

Of course I know it. I've said it before - polls this far out are meaningless. I was just dispelling some disinformation and confusion regarding the numbers.

The polls don't mean much at this point. Where was GHWB in '91, 89% or something? He lost in '92 anyway, because the economy tanked. Sic transit gloria mundi.

If the economy stays in the tank, Obama's in for a dog fight in 2012, no matter who the GOP runs, or how many terrorist scalps he collects.

Of course, that means it behooves the GOP to keep the economy in the tank till then... but that's another story!

Congratulations, Jimmy Carter, you are no longer the worst president in history!
