YouTube - Bush's Failed Hunt for Bin Laden

As though al Qaida would cease to be once Bin Laden was killed.

How many families should have been told their son died in an ill advised ground assault to capture one man?

How would plans to destroy the al Qaida organization have progressed were chemical weapons (still unaccounted for) smuggled in from Iraq and used in Afghanistan?

Liberals love to b*tch about Bush not taking drastic action on the flimsiest of rumors to prevent 9/11 (note Clinton took no action for eight years), then also complain he took drastic action to prevent the spread of chemical weapons to the Afghan battlefield.

Well, which is it?

So what actions has Obama taken since new threats were made by the same al Qaida this week?

Can I still get on an AMTRAK train without an invasive search of my person and belongings?

Got that no-ride list in place?

How about if Bush would have ordered new invasive body searches for anyone boarding a plane because he heard a rumor that al Qaeda may be planning to hijack planes?

Would liberals have cheered Bush for taking reasonable and appropriate steps to keep us safe?

Judging by the backlash to any measure Bush took to keep us safe by the left, I would say no.

Let me bring you up to speed about Islamic terrorists and planes.

Islamo-terrorists have ALWAYS been planning to hijack planes.

So now that they can't get on planes, they're rumored to be eying trains.

"Shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, detainees in the CIA's secret prison network told interrogators about an important courier with the nom de guerre Abu Ahmed al-Kuwaiti who was close to bin Laden. After the CIA captured al-Qaida's No. 3 leader, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, he confirmed knowing al-Kuwaiti but denied he had anything to do with al-Qaida.
Then in 2004, top al-Qaida operative Hassan Ghul was captured in Iraq. Ghul told the CIA that al-Kuwaiti was a courier, someone crucial to the terrorist organization. In particular, Ghul said, the courier was close to Faraj al-Libi, who replaced Mohammed as al-Qaida's operational commander. It was a key break in the hunt for in bin Laden's personal courier."

Phone call by Kuwaiti courier led to bin Laden - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_bin_laden_hunt_for_bin_laden - broken link)

See how that works?

If we had followed the liberal law enforcement approach (don't get me started on Clinton's non-approach approach) we would have never had the secret CIA prisons on Poland and Romania, would have never captured Hassan Ghul and BO wouldn't have his bump in the polls.

"The CIA got similar information from Mohammed’s successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Both were subjected to harsh interrogation tactics inside CIA prisons in Poland and Romania.
The news is sure to reignite debate over whether the now-closed interrogation and detention program was successful. Former president George W. Bush authorized the CIA to use the harshest interrogation tactics in U.S. history. President Barack Obama closed the prison system."

First strands on bin Laden gathered in CIA prison - BostonHerald.com (http://news.bostonherald.com/news/us_politics/view/20110502first_strands_on_bin_laden_gathered_in_cia _prison/ - broken link)

While BO is busy shooting campaign commercials at ground zero, he should remind his loyal brainless sheep that Bin Laden would still be free had his policies been in effect in 2002.

George W. Bush's ideas did not work. The Bush's have been oil partners with the Bin Laden family for years. He wasn't that concerned as he has stated.

George Soros doesn't have another propaganda video to counter my arguments?

How about you answer the questions I asked or concede the thread...

He's planning an invasion/occupation of a country that did nothing to the US?

Keep in mind, had it not been for GW, Obama would never have been elected and Bin Laden would be out there running terror cells. So, Bush did accomplish that.
