I have to agree that Ron Paul will get much more heat from the right than from the left, at least during the primaries. If he gets the nomination, which I seriously doubt, THEN he will get the full barrel of nutjobs from the left.
So far Fox has put up 5 polls. Each time Ron Paul was leading they took it down and put up another.
The press and news media did the same to Paul and Kucinich last time around. They were both shut down. Neither of them speak well. They actually say stuff but don't put on much of a show. Americans aren't interested in reality, they just want manufactured low budget reality shows.
Last election the press only gave attention to an empty suit with a lot of slogans, a slightly overweight swimsuit model wannabe with an empty brain case, and a rock star. These are the choices the press gave us and we chose the rock star.
I like Ron Paul as a person but he's not presidential material. Can't say much for his parenting
skills either as his son Rand turned out to be a moron, of course his mother may have had something
to do with that....
yeah well I feel sorry for parents with adult "kids" who never grew up. So I empathize. Its like my neighbor who's 36 year old son never married and lives with mommy.
Lookig at the lkast election even the debates :I really doubt he will be taken seriuoswly. Even during the republican debates he was allowed to give his spill then left out fo the deabte. The top will always attct the top people and not waste airtime on a 4% candidate. He will have to show alot more vote drawing this time to be allowed into the real issue debate. His problem is he doesn't really support the republican platform and doesn't like Obama did have the power to change it by delegates to the republican party committee.
I like Ron Paul...he talks a lot of sense. I have even spoken to him on emails but he will never get the nomination. If he was 20 years younger then maybe. Whoever wins, i think Ron Paul should be looked at for a treasury position.

funny you mention that, I watched Dennis give an early speech in his first Presidential runs, out in California I think. He read his speech off of a lap top and delivered it like he was doing one of those one minute floor speeches, you know, trying to spit out 180 seconds worth of words in 60 seconds. I know one of his insiders and described what I thought to him. After that Dennis slowed down and was more deliberate but still has lots of problems with his delivery.
