Thanks for helping the enemy out there, guys. If this passes the Texas Senate, and Perry signs it, the terrorists will know exactly where to place their bombs to avoid detection in Texas airport boarding lines!

Fortunately, like most bone-head laws passed by Red States the past few years, this one will ultimately be declared unconstitutional. Meanwhile, I hope no one gets hurt.

You know there's probably MILLIONS of ways for terrorists to truly attack us? Just because the one that got us was on an airplane doesn't mean that's the only way to attack us.

For once I'll say: Good for Texas!

Good for Texas. Wish more states would put a stop to the sexual assault by the TSA.

So according to you it's unconstitutional for a state to pass legislation outlawing illegal searches... oh that's rich. And people wonder why democrats can't make any ground in a place like TX...

yea Texas blew it. The plan was to promote and talk about airlines in order to distract the terrorists from recognizing our open border in the south. At least with airlines the terrorists have to buy a ticket instead of strolling across the border.

We should have TSA on subways and buslines and elementary schools and concerts and sporting events. heck even in the Middle East we should have pat downs. Matter of fact why don't we move the TSA to the Middle East since that's where the terrorists are from. They probably wont even notice more Americans on their soil dictating policy. They are probably used to that by now.

Quit reacting to the symptom and treat the cause instead. Bring all our troops home to protect our borders and make us safer.

It's because a Democrat is in the White House.

If these TSA patdowns were happening under Bush, conservatives would be screaming how great they were, and how they were protecting us against "Ay-rab terrah-ists from Irak".

No, it's because the people of Texas complained to their lawmakers that they do not want to be physically groped at airports.

We should not be made to live in fear and subject ourselves to humiliating physical groping by government man handlers.

One small victory for American citizens. Taking back our country..one stolen liberty at a time

Texas House passes bill banning TSA airport "groping" - Yahoo! Singapore Finance (http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/Texas-House-passes-bill-rb-2950400848.html?x=0 - broken link)
"The proposal would classify any airport inspection that "touches the anus, sexual organ, buttocks, or breast of another person including through the clothing, or touches the other person in a manner that would be offensive to a reasonable person" as an offense of sexual harassment under official oppression.

Terrorists in Texas don't need to hide bombs. They can just hand carry them across the Mexican border. Other than well armed citizens, there's no one there to stop them.
