Depends on what qualifies as social issues. Are social issues just limited to abortion and same sex marriage ?

Abortion and gay marriage I can see, but government regulation of food is a social issue???? I suppose you view child labor laws as social issues as well.

Fiscal issues. It's sad when rural good ole boys are more worried about gays marrying in San Francisco than having a job.

Fiscal/economic issues. If the Republicans even begin to talk about abortion, gays, drugs, porn, etc. I will vote against them.

I wasn't going to respond to this post at first, seeing as how usually you attack me or turn it racial...............
but YES regulation of food is a social issue IMO.....Government doesn't have any business telling us what foods we can or can not eat just like they have no business telling us who we can or can not marry.
