well, republicans are supposedly the party of lincoln, and that it is the dems who have always been racist.
holding to that pattern, no republican would support a racist republican candidate.
I think you need a lesson in history.
Short summary: Before the 1964 civil rights act support for racism was based on region, not on party. After the southern strategy, the support racism switch from regional based to party based. In think you can guess what party it switched to.
Lets say for example he is running for the senate against a very liberal democrat in your state and you really want to unseat him. He is your ideal candidate. Very conservative, pro life, will vote to repeal obamacare, will vote for paul ryans budget, deficit hawk, pro gun, will cut entitlements, etc. He also won the republican primaries so it's either him or the tax and spend liberal.
One problem, he is an admitted racist. He hates blacks and refuses to associate with at all. He believes in segregation and the return to seperate water fountains, seperate schools, etc. He openly believes this but will not pursue this policy as an elected official.
So, would you still vote for him despite his personal beliefs on blacks and segregation?
Unfortunately the majority did last time around. Does the name Joe Biden ring a bell?
As I stated in the OP, they are an open racist. They openly admit themselves they are racist. Hope that clears it up for some people.
Ok great. How about stating who the person is and what they stated.
If they stated "I am racist", clear enough. If they have an opinion that has been labeled by some people as racist, but is really left open to interpretation, the jury is still out.
So again, who was it and what are their exact statements claiming to be racist?

i know. my post was sarcasm.
look at this forum.
the race trolling threads come from those who vote for republicans primarily.
granted, its a forum, and trolling is common on any forum, but the racially tinged trolls are those primarily who are stated republicans.

There is no person. Re-read the OP, the question is theoretical. And the positions this theoretical persons have (besides being racist) are laid out in the OP.
