With Trump announcing he's not running, you have to think even just as a social experiment how easily many of those on the right can be misled. When Trump first announced he was running his approval numbers were quite low, once he started with the birther nonsense many got bright eyed, a little slobber running down their mouths and his approval ratings skyrocketed. Once Trump dropped the motherload, stating Obama has been "the worst president ever" the right started frothing at the mouth, going into convulsions and praising him as an amazing candidate that will be the next president, with polls showing him tied or in the lead of republican hopefuls.
It didn't matter at all about having no political experience, that he's filed bankruptcy numerous times, and was otherwise a circus sideshow, just the fact that he bashed Obama made him a hero to many on the right. Most sane people knew he was a joke on a huge PR stunt from the beginning, but many gullible people thought he was a hero. So the question are many on the right easily mislead?
Yes... It shows just how stupid people in this country really are. Trump has run every business he's been involved with into the ground. His investors where so heavily in debt with him that they couldn't afford to pull out.
The man is a con artist and a thief and to think that some people actually entertained the idea of voting this man into office.
The reaction on here to Trump was instructive. All he had to do was criticize Obama and pander to a few prejudices and obsessions in order to have quite a lot of people on here fawning over him.
Was Trump A Perfect Example Of How Easily Misled The Right Are?
No. But he certainly has been an example of how gullible the left IS.
I was thinking the same.. Many on the right here said Trump wasnt going to run, but the left created thread, after thread, after thread on Trump.. Sure sounds gullible to me..

Hell, I said right from the start he wasn't running but given what the GOP put up in 2008, people'd believe anything with a pulse at this point.
I wasn't going to do any research on him unless he officially announced he would run, I never really figured he would. I just found it refreshing for someone to abandon all PC crap and say what they thought instead of what they think people want to hear.
I disagree, most of the threads about trump were from neocons. They were saying how trump could easily defeat Obama especially after the bither crap.
