You can't write anything this funny. Newt went to a Christian Science Monitor breakfast and made one thing abundantly clear before he even sat down...he's a Washington outsider.

Newt Gingrich: 'I'm Not A Washington Figure' (VIDEO)

Apparently 20 years in the House of Representatives just doesn't count I guess.

Oh man, I am laughing so hard I'm nearly crying.

I almost feel sorry for him. His campaign seems a bit schizophrenic and lost. If he can't artuculate a focused identity and vision, he is going to go down in flames.

Old Newt is always good for obnoxious {R} rhetoric and in the clip he did not disappoint. He babbles about being the most change oriented candidate then goes on about 2 EO's about restoring a Reagan and a Bush policy. And to paint himself as a outsider is a laugh and we all know the candidate that offers the most change is Ron Paul. Newt is a big fake neo con and a old {R} retread.

He's not a popular insider because he is contrary to the massive socialism Democrats and the Press love. That much is true.

He is part of the old boy republicans in that they don't want to rock the cradle too hard, they rather be populists and that won't get it done.

It seems Newt's memory is even shorter than that of his supporters!

Once you consider who he is trying to appeal to... reality doesn't matter!

Yep! It's hard to figure out who to laugh at first, and the sad part is it requires no work or subtlety. Just post a video of them doing what they do.

Default Gingrich: "I'm not a Washington figure"

Wow..Does Newt think we're that stupid? I guess he must think republican voters are that stupid. Dude was the Speaker of the House but he's not a Washington figure? Wow, he needs to bow out for family/health concerns or some other lie. Leave for your own good Newt.
