Well, it certainly depends on whether you've drunk the koolaid or not. Starting with the photo at the top - not very respectful, now is it? Continuing on through the lies and deflection through the list.

The GOP list had several citations under each and every point. I find it unlikely that every citation is an expression of fear.

The conservative insistence on giving tax breaks to the wealthy on the backs of 98% of Americans, not to mention the conservative stance on deregulation and other corporations-first ideology suggests that the above is exactly what the GOP is doing. Of course, they are re-distributing the wealth in the opposite direction of what the OP meant...

Wrong.. Tax cuts benefit EVERYONE
Deregulation was done by Democrats, and they even blocked Bush tryign to regulate the mortgage industry
And its Democrats supporting tax breaks for companies like GE, who got more tax breaks, then the WHOLE OIL INDUSTRY combined.. Ooh, the difference, GE was a tax "credit", the oil industry, standard tax breaks available to EVERYONE...

Is that so? Why, then, did average AGI fall by over 5% between 2000 and 2008? Why is it that conservatives are yelling and screaming about the defecit, yet they are all in favor of making W's tax cuts permanent (at a cost of $5 trillion over ten years)?

Nope.. the AGI for individuals GREW during this time period.. They fell for families but thats because families got smaller... Dont let facts stand in the way though

1) Because tax cuts are not a cost
2) The revenue to the federal government stays rather consistant, regardless of the tax rate, (about 19.5%), reducing tax rates dont decrease revenues..

What would you like facts on? GE got a $3.2B tax credit from the Obama stimulus bill. The credits being discussed by the Democrats holding hearings is $4B TOTAL, and thats for THE WHOLE INDUSTRY. (let alone the facts they arent credits, but are business expenses..

And spare me the bs about Limbaugh, I dont listen to him and you arent making any points by pretending I do..
