Unless spending is cut. What good will it due to tax ANYBODY if congress continues to spend it faster than it comes in?? It makes no sense at all. 60 trillion in unfunded liabilities. That means we the US have already allocated 60 trillion dollars we don't have in the first place to be spent. That is on top of the 14 trillion dollar national debt. Do you think taxation is the answer? Apparently the orator does. He's an idiot though and just out to get the gullible lemmings vote for going after the evil rich.

Hell the GDP of the entire world was around 65 trillion dollars. When will the insanity end? In riots and flames?

Taxing the rich is PART of the solution, and a LONG WAY from the whole solution.

Get a clue.

No it's pointless if your going to turn around and spend it right after it comes in which is what they will do. Anything you've seen make you think spending will be reigned in professor plumb??

Taxing them 100% would be like pissing in the ocean.

But, like dude, what if you're NOT going to spend it right after it comes in? What if you make taxing them a PART of a full plan that also "reins" in spending? Pretty gnarly, eh?

They need a balanced budget amendment to force the cutting of spending.
We need to fire a ton of government employees into the private work force and we need to cut all the social spending down to a lot less with the main concerns only for the disabled and elderly.
The rest of the entitlement minded folks need to grow up.

PS: when the recession hit the first thing you lost was half the so called wealthy, so if you try and fund so much of the budget off their hide you will cause always massive deficits.
Forget share the wealth, share the responsibilities of the debts.

Your right. Tax em 0% or 100% wouldn't make a drop in the bucket to the hole we've dug.

Sadly many are unable to understand where we are. Way too many. All they know is what they're told.
