The city manager of our little suburban city once complained that none of the council members, save for a teacher, understood how government works. I'd put Cain in that same boat. You just can't do things the same way. It doesn't work.
Other side of that. I remember being an officer in my church. When expenses & financing were discussed, those who worked in private business clearly understood the need to be sure of our financing and the need to encourage steady giving by our congregation. Those who worked in the public sector never saw that as important. Their public agencies always got their budget, for the most part. They thought we should seek grants from church agencies, etc. & worry about it later. Those things were all well & good but would not last forever. The church did not last either. It ran out of funds.
That's the thing; if the far left establishment media tries to attack him for his connections to the fed, he has to fight back and point out their hypocrisy for not going after Geithner for actually working for the Fed. Conservsatives have to stop being so wishy washy and go hard after the media's hypocrisy and double standard.
Obama's good buddy and biggest support in getting his campaign going is a domestic terrorist who actually murdered someone, and his minister and mentor for 20 years is a blatent, loudmouthed racist pig -- yet the libs think Cain's association with the Fed is going to ruin him?
With Huckabee out, Republicans who are familiar with Herman Cain favor him over all other contenders to include Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney.
Cain is big government. He supported the bailouts. Hes an ex Federal Reserve Bank Chairman of Kansas City
Before giving credibility to Luntz you should look him up. Seems he plants the same people in his "focus" group. Did you listen to the talking head points those people made? Truely lost.

Running the federal government is a lot different from running a pizza company.
A person helping private businesses succeed in a crowded market place is exactly the kind of person needed in government. Government is full of people who have never lived in the real world, never been accountable for anything, constantly soaking the taxpayers for more money and showing less and less for it.
The career politicians have made a mess of this country. This man can start cleaning it up.
