Is there a quote from Christ on the subject that Christians should be expected to follow?

That was my point about George Bush.

But you have to consider the fact that these people are using religion for their political and economic goals. The real problem are simpletons who fall for them, every time.

Yes, and this aid from the US feeds directly into the lopsided "conflict" currently going on between Palestine and Israel. The frequent invasions of the Gaza Strip feature Israeli tanks againts Palestinians with AK-47s

Damage control on the Middle East speech - Right Turn - The Washington Post

Obama, trying to walk it back...along with a harsh statement by Leiberman.

Quote:
President Obama blew it yesterday. The Israelis are infuriated, numerous sharp-eyed lawmakers spotted the forced concessions Obama was demanding of Israel and, if former AIPAC spokesman Josh Block is any indication, the most prominent pro-Israel Jewish group is very, very worried.
I'm shocked they're surprised.

Anyone, with an ounce of common sense and awareness could see from the very beginning obama was/is anti-Israel.

Common sense? I don't like "claims" of owning it. What I like is people demonstrating it. As for the President, he is right being an anti-Israeli in the eyes of crooks. The President of America is not supposed to take oath to serve to the whims of Israelis.

Start packing, please.

Yes, I second this!! There is a distinct difference between being anti-Israeli and pro-human rights. President Obama owes Israel nothing at all and is correct to consider the needs of Palestinians as well.

"Which ones?" the man asked. And Jesus replied: "'You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely."

Jesus followed the laws of Moses. The commandment that says "you shall not kill" is really "you shall not murder". There is a huge difference between killing and murder. War, self preservation, self-defense, punishment for murder, preemptively to stop murder/genocide...etc all fall under killing, not murder. Basically Jesus is teaching that killing for vengance is murder.

Knock on my door and ask for food and I'll give you some, break down my door and steal my food and I'll defend my property.
