What about the facts? Or how about evidence of your assertions? See the link below about how careful muslims are with holy sites.

Surely you don't need a link to the instances of muslims burning churches?
GWB was too busy kissing Israel's butt to do anything else. Didn't you ever notice the brown on his nose?

Well, apparently obama expects just that. Why is he ignoring the FACT that hamas and fatah have realigned and any aid to the palestinian authority means aid to hamas, a terrorist organization?

Here is a map of Jerusalem, along with the holy sites;

What a dunderhead move by obama.

I truly hope Bibi embarrasses this idiot.

Obama's gift includes these sites; The Garden of Gethsamene, Chapel of the Ascension, The Tomb of the Virgin, The Tower of David, The Wailing Wall, The Via Delarosa (the final steps of Jesus Christ), The tomb of Jesus Christ, The Church of St. Anne
The Church of the Flagellation, The Church of All Nations, The site of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
You did not read the context of Obama speech. Here it is again:
The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states. The Palestinian people must have the right to govern themselves, and reach their potential, in a sovereign and contiguous state.
here is an copy of the speech. It is not anti semetic as many here claim to be:

The status of Jerusalem will be discussed later as with the Palestianian refugees.

Foreign Assistance Fast Facts

Believe me I am no fan of all of the Foreign Aid we give around the world.
I commented due to it being projected as if Israel is a great exception.

Dear me, then I wonder what in the world the poor fellow was talking about when he said in January of 2008;

"There should be an end to the occupation that began in 1967,"

Bush demands end to Israeli 'occupation' - Telegraph

All the more reason for me to think religion is a mental disease.

You have got to be kidding me. All because of some fairy tale and old books of fiction, Israel and Palestine are still going at it.

And before I get accused of being some Muslim Palestinian lover, **** Israel. **** Palestine. It is time for the USA to step out and let them handle it. Stop giving both any aid we do. Stop giving them even one thought.

Why is Israel or Palestine even worth a damn thought? We have ENOUGH issues at home. But still, I find it funny that if the USA does not give money to Israel, conservatives flip out. If we give money to fellow Americans, it is socialism. How does THAT work?

The only thing I see wrong with what the president said is that he is even thinking about those worthless countries. Let Israel and Palestine fight and rot in hell.

Better than obama bending over, again and again, to the muslims.

This idea makes so much sense it will never be implemented!

Sorry but that such a poor the pre-bin Laden gets hammered in Abbottabad meme.

(interesting note, the town was named after a British officer so the literal translation would be Abbott Town.)

Israel may have been an ally but they never were our friend. They were a client state and hated us for it. Now they are, just like their enemy in Palestine, nothing but protection racketeers. We are the patsy.
One person's swindler is another person's ally and friend:

Israel and the United States: Friends, Partners, Allies - Jan 2007

"As democracies, both Israel and the United States are committed to freedom, equality and tolerance for all people regardless of religion, race or gender."

Israeli-United States Relations

Background and Analysis

"
President Harry Truman recognized Israel on May 15, 1948, within minutes after Israel declared its independence. Past American presidents, encouraged by active support from civic groups, labor unions, political parties, and members of the American and world Jewish communities, supported the concept, articulated in Britain's 1917 Balfour Declaration, of a Jewish homeland."

I hope we never do what many suggest and withdraw our friendship with them, because to declare a commitment, then do a take back, is so wrong on so many levels, it isn't funny.
