Unfortunately it's Obama himself that's kept the ODR alive by constantly calling himself black. Thing is real black people don't investigate ancestry in Ireland or any other European country. DH's grandfather came here from Ireland as a child. Could there be a wee bit of kinship with Obama? I asked DH, "How's Cousin Barry?" one too many times this morning. He's going to ask his dad about their family history this afternoon.
