Well most Jews in America are liberal and maybe there would be an increase in amount of Jews now republicans, most will still vote the Democrats. The difference with Israel is the Jews in Israel would be on average more conservative, and if the Israeli Jews lived in America they would mostly vote Republican.
I guess the reasons is that Israel is always been at war, and America in comparison there is peace and no need to worry about neighbouring nations being warlike. In addition there is likely to be an higher percentage of Jews in Israel that are religous than America, and generally if you are religious you would vote for the conservative parties.
Okay, but why did they hate the Jews of Hebron in '29?
Religious tensions had been simmering for years, mostly due to radical Jews "claiming the wailing wall" and radical Arabs spreading false rumors about Jews murdering Arabs.
This was exacerbated by the large influx of non-Palestinian Jews into the region.
"Historically, the coexistence of Arab and Jewish population in the city was peaceful: the Jewish minority was integrated as part and parcel of the social and economic life of the city.
However, the constitution of the Zionist movement and the increasing Jewish migration to Palestine transformed the reality and relationships between the groups in Hebron, increasing the mutual tension and hostility.
The peak of this growing violence occurred during the 1929 riots: in the summer of that year, the Arab Revolt spread from Jerusalem to the rest of Palestine. On 23-24 August 1929, 67 Jews were killed in Hebron during the clashes. On the same day, 435 Jews survived after being hidden by their Arab neighbours. The memory of the massacre, but also the protection offered by some Arabs to Jews, are often remembered by the survivors and the descendants in order to highight the difference between that phase and the present time. Hanaa Abo Haikal narrates: “My family hid 16 Jews during the clashes in the downtown, they were neighbours, otherwise they would have been killed. We still have contacts with them.""

The main reason Jews vote Democrat has more to do with the Republican party's attempt to evangelize everyone into their way of thinking. Few things are less offensive to a Jew than evangelizing.
(there never was a country called Palestine (unless you mean when the romans renamed Judea)) (there was a continuous Jewish presence in Hebron till the arabs rioted with the British forcing them out since before there were even any arabs in that region)
Ouch...resorting to attacking my screenname
Anyway, in case you think I have something against Israel or Jews, I don't. I'm aware there was never a country (just a region) called Palestine, but I'm posting a brief timeline of the demographics of that region. See for yourself how they changed throughout the 20th century.
*Note the huge increase when Israel was founded and the subsequent Jewish majority a few decades later.

no it's has to do with the fact their parents voted democrat and then they adopted their party doctrinaire. Most Jews who follow their religion voted for McCain.
so what there was no threat to those murderers in 1929 (explain why children were murdered were they also threatening). why don't you read what those survivors had to say and not the other side to get a balanced view remember (remember they weren't Zionists)
the reason that they were attacked were only because they were a easy target for a arab mob who was anti Jewish.
somehow I don't believe this.

You seem to have a hard time taking simple facts at face value. Your original post questioned my statement that Palestine's issue was with Israel not Jews. I acknowledged that religious tensions DO EXIST (i.e., yes there are Arabs who are anti-Jewish) but they are not the primary grievance Palestinians have with Israel; yet you still push statements like "explain why murdering children is ok". why??
Even the Hebron incident was fueled partly by the large influx of non-Palestinian Jews into the area.
Obama not long after the speech turned up to an AIPAC meeting, and I guess to get the continued Jewish support as well as donations. However it appears Obama does not have an very clear vision of what he is after in the region.

almost all which were not Zionists.
I realy want an answer to this if the Palestinians were actually interested in peace explain why there were more then 500% more jewish death after all the concessions from Oslo till today then the same amount of time before Oslo.
There is not 1 thing that Israel got for all their concessions except pain and suffering.
"There is not 1 thing that Israel got for all their concessions except pain and suffering."
I was going to ask the same thing. Assuming a move back to the 67 border's was possible and actually happened: would we indeed see peace in that region? I bloody well think not! After a brief period of calm the terrorist acts would simply resume to achieve their stated goal of eliminating
Israel entirely.
The narrow vision has every president wanting "achieved peace in the mid-east" on his resume. The wider vision is: there will never be peace in that region until Arab parents have spent at least two generations teaching their children to look at jews no differently than any others. That ain't ever gonna happen!
