Floods, oil spills, tornadoes - these are not what concern Obama in the least. After all, the people in the heartland most likely won't vote for him anyway. He'll show up at his leisure and attempt to make the appearance all about him.

George Bush or Bill Clinton would be down there in their shirtsleeves showing real concern and compassion for the people.

Obama saves the concern and compassion for his union buddies, campaign contributors
and anyone with an anti-american agenda.

Joplin, Mo. torn apart by deadly storm - USATODAY.com

They said it was the 8th worst U.S. tornado ever, and the single worst since the National Weather Service began keeping official records in 1950.

Not the worst ever, but the worst in 61 years.

What is pay-as-you-go about emergencies like these? Political games?

Republicans who decided to hold relief funds for political gains? I didn't see you mention them, so I take it that you were just ignorant of the fact? Or, like BigJon, do you happen to support "the cause" and call yourself the real patriotic American?

Point taken but at least Bush was still in the country and did a fly over, something Obama doesn't and has never done.

I'll have to agree with you on that. I've always wondered by people in the areas affected like it when Presidents make a special trip to view the damage. Like you said, he or she would be in the way. Our technology is advanced enough for them to see the damage up close and personal without actually being there.
