Why should middle and lower classes pay more for healthcare when the taxes on the wealthy could be raised slightly and the military budget cut slightly to balance the budget?

As anybody can plainly see for themselves here.

The point is. There is no need to cut those programs to balance the budget.

Another point not intended for you personally.

Hell no. Absolutely cut politicians pay before anything else. Stop sending money to all these different Countries for this and that, it never stops, take care of our own before all others. We should matter first before any other Country. And the needs of Americans should be first and foremost.

Social Security doesn't add to the deficit yet, but Medicare/Medicaid does already and would only get worse. We need to do what I said and have the rich pay more and cut military spending.

People should have an option to opt out of these programs and not have their taxes deducted to fund these programs. For the money that is taken out of our paycheckes we could do a much better job of investing it and see a better return. If we were allowed to put some of that return into medical savings accounts (tax free) we would do far better than those people on medicare.

You just have no clue. They give you dishonest half-truths and you come here to CD and act like you know something.

Income tax is less than half of Federal revenues.....Payroll tax which all working Americans pay, brings in as much money as income tax.

They wanted you to go around posting "income" tax only statistics because it makes middle class and the poor look like they don't pay taxes.
