I wonder if this is the district with Ft. Drum and West Point in it? I think "heavily Republican" in NY is something far different than "heavily Republican" in Central Illinois.

Except my heavily Republican district hasn't sent a Democrat to Congress in 100 years. And no matter what they say or do, that's unlikely to change anytime soon. Can't say the same for NY-26
