"Aww, the DOJ Is Going After Pretty-Boy, And None Of You Libs Seem To Love Him Anymore"
I am clearly missing the point. Is there some obligation for liberals to "love" some public official even after he is exposed for being a cheat, and a philanderer?
Wow, what a distorted world view. When some one is indicted in a crime, you go after them.
I think it is moronic to complain about being generalized to everything a GOP runner believes in (along with the insults) when you keep doing it yourself, over and over and over again to anyone on the "left". I say "left" because I'm not sure what the hell you think "left" means, since it is incoherent at best...and conservapedia at worst.
That's just part way through the most recent page of the OP's posting history.
Bring out the Waaahbulance, with wahm-bugers and french cries
When a Democrat screws up (or down, sideways or however he did it), they just throw him under the bus and move on. Not that Edwards didn't deserve it, mind you.
THIS lib quit backing Edwards when I first heard about his back alley affair.
He's getting less than he deserves...and his slimey girlfriend...who is obviously is nothing but a high paid hooker....they are both sl-ts ...
That is unlike the Repugs who worship slimey cheating creeps like Newtsie.
Actually, Republicans generally get kicked to the curb after they do something like this. Clinton and any Kennedy (include Ted were he alive) would be fantastic examples of sleazy lying, womanizing creeps who are still very popular in liberal circles. Can you name a Republican who has been involved in a scandal on the level of Clinton's, Kennedy's or Edward's and is still politically viable?
As for Newt, he can run but he has yet to find traction. He has high name recognition, but his personal likability numbers are a disaster.
Is Edwards significantly different than Senator Ensign? No one is stepping forward to defend him. Both are sleazy, corrupt and deserve what they get. No party has a monopoly on vice or virtue. The perennial C-D game of posting about “which scandal or gaffe is more embarrassing” is tiresome.
I'm not sure what the point of this thread is, other than you letting us know you like a man's mouth.
