What if he would have picked a woman if available but didn't have the option - like prison or the military? Are you going to tell me all 50,000 per year military male on male rapes were among gays? Statistically impossible. Your argument is ridiculous.
Just to note that I'm not implying anything with the comparison. I support gays fully. But, as a hetero man, I cannot imagine raping another man. It would be a physical impossibility as the mere thought would make 'it' limp. I realize that rapists can get excited by the power/violence aspect, but the homo aspect would be enough to kill any rigidity if they are indeed 100% hetero.
I can't speak for all heterosexuals, but let it just be known that heterosexuals can definitely rape the same sex but it has a very different feel to it. When they are doing it out of sexual gratification it's very different from when they're doing it out of power gratification. The way they act and the high they get off of it has a different quality to it. There is more than one possible dynamic that can happen during rape, and many people who haven't been raped themselves aren't aware of all of the things that factor into that dynamic.
When there are only men around to have sex with, it's not a choice. In same-sex environments like jail and the barracks, people who are normally heterosexual often turn to homosexual behavior because there are simply no people of the opposite sex around. They're dying to get laid but there are no members of their preferred sex around so they go for the next best thing. Would you still consider people in that situation homosexual, especially if before/after their jail sentence or service time they engaged in exclusively heterosexual behavior?
well, i'd say they're something... they're not not gay (2 nots)

I would think they could masterbait, I say they picked a man no one made them do it they wanted to. JMO

You keep throwing out these inflated and/or patently false number and stats.
If you are gay and want to press an agenda, so be it but stop telling lies!!
You stated approx 95% of male prisoners rape, et no statistics to support your claim.
Quote:
People in this thread are saying that the act of a man raping another man automatically makes him gay. Prison rape is absolutely rampant, and while I'm not saying for a fact 95% of prisoners rape, I'd bet it's fairly close to that number.
Then you trot out the 50,000 military male on male rape. Stop lying, that's patently false and you know it!!

From your article: Last year nearly 50,000 male veterans screened positive for “military sexual trauma”
Military Sexual Trauma NOT rape!!.
So what does "Military Sexual Trauma" encompass??..lets get some true answers.
Definition
What is military sexual trauma?
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) defines military sexual trauma (MST) as sexual harassment that is threatening or physical assault of a sexual nature. These traumas occur when a person is in the military. The location, the genders of the people involved, and their relationship do not matter.
Sexual harassment may include:
* A put-down of your gender.
* Flirting when you've made clear it's not welcome.
* Sexual comments or gestures about your body or lifestyle.
* Pressure for sexual favors. Information on Military Sexual Trauma: Definition
so these instances you claim as rape, in reality are in many cases someone calling someone a "sissy", or telling a female she's "sexy", or telling a black female soldier she has a "big behind".
So does the article suggest how many man on man (should be male on male) rapes actually occur??..again from your article.
But last year more than 110 men made confidential reports of sexual assault by other men, nearly three times as many as in 2007.
Ok, that's more like it, a little less pandering and a little more truth.
So 110 men admitted to being sexually assaulted NOT 50,000. Big difference in my opinion. To be "objective" let's presume that this was only half the sexual assaults that took place against male soldiers. e can then up the number to a staggering 220...still a hell of a ways from 50,000 rapes.

AF Officer Gets 50 Years for Raping Men
Associated Press | March 01, 2007
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - A military jury ignored an Air Force captain's plea for leniency Wednesday, sentencing him to 50 years in prison for raping four men and attempting to rape two others.
Taylor was convicted of two counts of attempted sodomy, four counts of forcible sodomy, two counts of kidnapping and one count of unlawful entry.
Each of the six men testified during the nine-day court-martial and said they drank with Taylor at bars, later felt drugged and were assaulted by him. Two of the men are Air Force officers.
"I want you to know how much I have loved being a part of the Air Force and serving this country. It has been difficult for me to be a part of the military and be who I am, which is a homosexual," Taylor said in a written statement read Wednesday by a military defense attorney assisting in the case. Wonder how man more gay men are raping troops and it get's passed off as the need to "exert power and control" type rapes??
I'm a little confused by some of the postings here who say that a man who rapes another man, does not make him gay..
Yes I know rape is about force, but that doesnt mean it isnt gay as well.
Thats like saying an adult who rapes little children by force isnt a pedophile because its about the force as while.. Nonsense..
If a male rapes a female, it makes them a rapist, it they rape a male, it makes them a gay rapist. If you rape little children, your a pedophile rapist.. The constance is that force = rape, but the victim determines what type of rapist you are.

And I'm a little confused by the postings here that say a man raping another man necessarily makes him gay.
When a man rapes another man (or a women), it's usually to humiliate him - to degrade and emasculate him - to exercise the worst kind of power and control over him. He doesn't rape another man because he's sexually attracted to the guy. Sexual and emotional attraction defines gay - not a desire to degrade, humiliate, emasculate and control.

Probably not necessarily. This is one reason I am pro death penalty. Not because he is a rapist but because this kind of behavior is common among pack animals. Clearly a person who uses animal type behavior to brutalize another person probably cannot function in society. Should we be pretending to rehabilitate them and waste time, money and space we don't have in our prison system on them?
Another way to look at the original question would be, if a male rapes another man does it make him gay??
You could say no, it doesn't make the male gay;
it makes him a male that commits rapes in a homosexual manner.
So what would you call a man that enjoys sodomizing other men against their will??
