MEDFORD, Mass., May 24 (UPI) -- White Americans say anti-white racism has increased and has become a bigger problem than anti-black racism, U.S. researchers suggest.

Study co-authors Samuel Sommers of Tufts University and Michael I. Norton of Harvard asked a nationwide sample of 208 blacks and 209 whites to indicate the extent to which they felt blacks and whites were the targets of discrimination in each decade from the 1950s to the 2000s.

Whites are more often the victim of racist black violence and intimidation. Non violent forms of racism would see more blacks as victims simply because there are more whites in positions of power.

The most discriminated against people in the US today are white, heterosexual, male Christians. They're under attack.

Any person can hold racist beliefs, but this is where I see the difference. Over all, Whites tend to have more political and economic power than Blacks. This is not only from historical issues but from sheer numbers. Whites outnumber Blacks 5 to 1. Whites have much more net wealth than Blacks. Whites historically have had more wealth than Blacks. At one time, most Blacks were considered property and counted as "wealth". Point being, anyone can hold racist beliefs, but if one has more power at a disproportional amount compared to someone else, said person can use such racist beliefs in some insidious ways, and get away with it in some cases. Not all, but it can happen.

You're missing the most important point. White males are the only group legally discriminated against in America. A white male who has been the victim of reverse discrimination, to include Affirmative Action, typically has no legal recourse.

They're tired of being pushed around, damn it.

I've noticed that for people who for years would groan if any race suggested any time of racial prejudice or victimization, white right wingers love to play the victim these days...

That is factually untrue. There have been prominent cases in which the courts have sided with white males who have been discriminated against. More so, if faced with the choice of dealing with the racial discrimination facing white males, and the racial discrimination facing non-white males, I really doubt that you or the majority of individuals would prefer the latter.

Having a few token cases does little to offset the everyday double standard which applies to whites and this with the federal government's blessing.

It sounds to me like you're arguing that whites are trying to naturally select other people out of the human population.
