According to this, Saudi Arabia would be the second best place for you with $0.91/gallon at the pump. The best? Venezuels: $0.12/gallon. The gasoline prices in the USA would be somewhere between Andorra and Estonia.
I think that the period in front of the one was not meant to be there which would make the price 18 cents not .18 cents. Nice try though.

Because that's how much they can get for it there. It could be .18 cents a gallon here as well but the oil companies will keep it as high as they possibly can for maximum profit.
So they can make a whopping 7 cents/gallon while the federal government makes several times that?
