With out patriot act we all are going to die!!!!!!

Uhh, unless something changed that I missed, we are all going to die. In the meantime, live your life with joy and don't get all batship over something that takes nothing from you and that you frankly don't think about unless it's up for renewal.

Well if you want to ignore it's unconstitutionality, the physical assaults and porno-scans, there is the financial burden the patriot act has placed on taxpayers.
Ok you can go back to pretend land now.

Default Role Call

Here is the record of how our Senators voted:
U.S. Senate: Legislation & Records Home > Votes > Roll Call Vote

House Representatives:
Final Vote Results for Roll Call 376

Terrorism won and liberty continues to be eroded away. We as a nation will have neither security nor liberty with this vote.

Needless to say, I am very dissapointed in the way in which both of my Senators and my Rep. have voted against liberty and for tyranny.

Pure hyperbole. You are so certain that the USAPATRIOT Act is unconstitutional, yet cannot state one specific thing that violates any of your constitutionally protected rights. I will wager that you have not even read the law. Merely spewing regurgitated mainstream media propaganda.

What liberty has been eroded? Those who cannot be specific and must address issues ambiguously typically have absolutely no clue what they are talking about. If you cannot cite the specific section of the law, and the specific constitutionally protected right being violated by that law, then all your rhetoric is completely meaningless.

Ron Paul voted NO. He votes like he talks.

I dunno..how's about not being treated as a potential terrorist if you want to travel to another state in the US via an airplane ?

What they had before the groping/naked scanners served the US very well.
The underwear bomber did not board the plane in the US and we are all paying for the US failure to listen to his father's warning.

If somebody now has the power to remove your liberties then you have indeed already lost your liberties. For those who think the Patriot Act is perfectly constitutional and worthy of support, you are blind. What did you lose? You lost the power to retain your freedom when you will need it the most.

The USAPATRIOT Act has absolutely nothing to do with transportation security of any kind. Take up that issue up with Janet Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security. The TSA was created by a Democrat controlled Senate and a Republican controlled House under President Bush after the USAPATRIOT Act was enacted into law. One has nothing to do with the other.

You clearly need to read the USAPATRIOT Act.

The Patriot Act is over 500 pages long and like most suspect legislation, was rushed through with almost no one who voted for it having ever read it.
It violates the first, fourth and sixth amendments specifically.

Speaking of propaganda, are you part of the Obama administration? You sure do lobby for this thing whenever it's brought up.
