Nice to see principle over partisanship makes you happy. Perhaps at some point you'll choose to make the leap and embrace the same philosophy.

Romney created a crisis in his state with his mandate that insurance be purchased or provided for all. He still has the nerve to defend that debacle.

What principle, and what partisanship might you be referring to?

What the "philosophy" of picking the most blatantly partisan candidates of questionable civic intelligence to run in a national election? Heavens no, that is a leap into the abyss that I don't care to make. Thank you very much. But if supporters of the Republican Party wish to, hey I am more than happy to stand along the edge and yell, JUMP!

What "philosophy" might that be?
Is this honestly a serious question?

I knew THAT was coming! You owe me a keyboard!

Explain it to him/her again. Slower this time, with crayolas.

A simple expository sentence would do.

I'm surprised this requires explanation. The simple principle of rejecting what would likely be a popular candidate with a decent chance of winning as his views are little different from those of his opponent.

Exactly what part of Ron Paul's philosophy would you categorize as blatantly partisan? Define his lack of "civic intelligence".

The concept of putting your beliefs before victory is not particularly difficult to understand.

Sorry if the above explanation fails to clarify things for you. I'm only willing to devote a minimal amount of time and effort to explaining the obvious.

If you mean "never" like unless he is the nominee, I'm with you.
