She's the dodo, along with Republican dodo Eric Cantor, who some months ago, criticized some politician for dressing up as a Nazi...AS PART OF A WWII RE-ENACTMENT GROUP (you know those living history events where half the re-enactors play good guys and half play bad guys or there can be no re-enactment)..
Debbie Wasserman Schultz is to Jews what Sheila Jackson Lee is to blacks. Anybody who would vote for these imbeciles deserves to be stripped naked, placed in stocks in the town square and have rocks pelted at them.
Both parties have them? Are you actually posting them for both parties. Did you look at the overall point of what she had to say? Do you man up and criticize what the drug addict entertainer Mr Limbaugh has to say?

Change that to:
"If it were up to the candidates for president on the Republican side, we would be driving ONLY foreign cars; they would have let the auto industry in America go down the tubes."
or
"If it were up to the candidates for president on the Republican side, American car companies would have died; they would have let the auto industry in America go down the tubes."
She didn't word things ideally, but you can clearly see her point. It wasn't a scripted remark. Without the bailout of the auto industry, which has largely been paid back, both GM and Chrysler would have been finished as would a vast array of suppliers upon which Ford depends. That would have caused the loss of millions of jobs during the worst economic time in 100 years. No bueno.
To paraphrase your thread title, The politicians who say they wouldn't have bailed out the auto industry if they were president are either incompetent or lying. The vast majority of them are the latter.
She and 80% of our politicians are members of the royals. They've decided they rule us rather than work for us and the decline of the US in lightning speed proves they are doing a horrible job of it. There's no shortage of "double standards, do as I say not as I do" politicians these days.
We are very close to not being able to control them through voting, if we aren't already passed that point.
