Also most US citizens would be pleased to know that Mexico's fertility rate has just reached 2.1 which is below their replacement rates....So their population should be leveling out..if not falling in the future.

The problem is the citizens of poor nations with high birth rates desperately trying to better their station in life by moving to a more wealthy country.

The more you can help them raise their standard of living the more you would see their birth rates fall.

There is an upside to that. It can't be denied that we pay less for services and products because of their labor.

In Texas, they raise our crops, cook our food, clean our buildings, build our streets and bridges, build and repair our houses and commercial buildings, fix our cars, maintain our lawns, ....all for nearly minimum wage with no benefits.....And never do I hear them complain.

soon we will have to accomodate them with large slums poverty grows with low paying jobs... so does the populus..

I actually edited what I wrote. It's probably true, all in all, that our standard of living is slightly lower because of immigration of low skilled workers.
