Brown said he was unaware of any poll of any other governor showing a lower approval rating. Nor could pollsters John Zogby, Matt Towery, Brad Coker or Tom Jensen. A Herald/Times survey of recent polls of controversial governors in large states showed Scott had the lowest recent approval rating.

I don't follow Florida politics but when did a Governor's job become a popularity contest. Sometimes making the tough decisions makes one unpopular.

Oh good. I'll keep that in mind when Republicans gloat over Obama's approval rating dropping 2 or 3 points - into the high 40s.

To this day I don't know what the hell the people of Florida were thinking about when they deciided to vote for him.

This guy was a KNOWN unethical businessman.

Voting Scott in as Gov. over the well qualified Sink is one of the typical public blunders that is detrimental to Florida.

This is not the first--or will it be the last. "It can only happen in Fl." is not simply a phrase!

Rick Scott will help Obama win Florida.

Seriously, who kicks out old people from a signing ceremony and buses in kids to hold signs? That's something that would happen in North Korea.

My theory is that the people think all politicians are crooks, so they voted for one that had the best track record.

"It was and still is the biggest Medicare fraud case in U.S. history and ended with the hospital giant Columbia/HCA paying a record $1.7 billion in fines, penalties and damages.

Now the man who ran the company at the time wants to be Florida's governor."
