Brown said he was unaware of any poll of any other governor showing a lower approval rating. Nor could pollsters John Zogby, Matt Towery, Brad Coker or Tom Jensen. A Herald/Times survey of recent polls of controversial governors in large states showed Scott had the lowest recent approval rating.

I don't follow Florida politics but when did a Governor's job become a popularity contest. Sometimes making the tough decisions makes one unpopular.

Oh good. I'll keep that in mind when Republicans gloat over Obama's approval rating dropping 2 or 3 points - into the high 40s.

To this day I don't know what the hell the people of Florida were thinking about when they deciided to vote for him.

This guy was a KNOWN unethical businessman.

Voting Scott in as Gov. over the well qualified Sink is one of the typical public blunders that is detrimental to Florida.

This is not the first--or will it be the last. "It can only happen in Fl." is not simply a phrase!

My theory is that the people think all politicians are crooks, so they voted for one that had the best track record.
