The motto of Corporate America is:

IF IT DON'T MAKE DOLLARS, IT DON'T MAKE SENSE!

The American people are being sold out by Corporate America and the banks.
That's the ONLY reason to start a business.

I'm flabbergasted by some of these posts.

The teacher's union largely formed as response to low payment. Once they got powerful, however, things just got worse from there.

As for offshoring blue collar work and hiring illegal immigrants, I agree. Again, this is largely the work of greedy corporate guys. Less money to pay workers = more money to keep to themselves.

I care because we have a huge budget shortfall and we need to cut military spending and raise taxes on the wealthy to pay for it.

It's important for people to know just how well the rich in the USA are doing.

You and your family may think it's just fine to live pay check to pay check in a trailer park, with no health insurance and or social security, but I have higher goals for my fellow Americans. .

So why you been sittin' on this informative gem TempestT68?

While you been playin' wallflower the economy has been in the tank.

OK, at least better late than never at all.

From now on only generous warm-hearted souls may sit on the boards of multinational corporations.

That should fix it.

You're right. It is the only reason to start a business. And that's exactly the problem. Corporate America is profit oriented and will use whatever methods they can to gain the most money, whether or not those methods are ethical.

Then go buy them a house if YOU have higher goals. Just be prepared to pay their mortgage if they are living paycheck to paycheck.

We have a spending problem, not a tax problem.

Less revenue means less spending. Biden has a trillion dollars worth of cuts..where are they ?
