Actually the rulers in Syria in 175 BC were Greek.

Outstanding proof of what I knew when I posted the thread. I knew that not one of the lefties here would take a chance of learning what Beck actually said by watching. I always like to try just to prove that they really don't have the fortitude to watch, just once, to find out what he said and not what Media Matters says he said. This time they didn't even need MM. One of them said what he thought he had read and we went from there.

Well, I didn't see the show (I don't have a TV). I also have common sense. Nothing in my common sense gave me reason to believe that roysoldboys was either misinterpreting, miscommunicating, or lying about what Glenn Beck said.

I was simply doing what he asked - refuting the claim he attributed to Glenn Beck about Muslims starting in 175BC a continuing quest to destroy the Jews.

Yeah so, they still persecuted Jews.

I just took a chance that I would make it through a day trying to get you lefties to learn something. I didn't think one of you would take a chance to see what he really said but this time it is something that is very important to our well being and yet nobody will make an effort. It is ok, though because the time is coming when you will realize what the Arab Spring really was.

I hear you, if you didn't see the show, you wouldn't know what he was trying to say.

I do have a life and you misread what I said this morning. I had to sleep a few hours, and then had to keep the wife happy along with taking care of other duties. You can never make me leave without howling to the authorities to get me thrown out for talking about Beck.

Hey, do you have the guts to watch the show and refute anything he actually said in it? I think not since you tried to make out that he said there were Muslims in 175 BC. Good reading but false reading also.

The problem people like Beck have is that they think Israel are the good ones and everyone around them are the bad ones. I know this is a typical American way of thinking, but it doesn't help at all, actually it causes a lot of problems as soon as things get complex.

No, I meant to say Syrians. There were no Muslims in 175 BC. Mohammed made his Hegira in 622 AD and that was the beginning of islam.
