The idiot in the white house supports this abuse of power bill.

He's been telling us for years about how bad this bill is.

Too bad he's now supporting the PA.... it should be repealed.

USA PATRIOT Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Consider the source. It was actually introduced in the Senate by Sen. Daschle under S. 1510, not Sen. Biden. Here is a far more credible source:

Bill Summary & Status - 107th Congress (2001 - 2002) - H.R.3162 - THOMAS (Library of Congress)

As normal his insights come for not knowing anything.

Part of the Patriot Act was ruled unconstitutional. There are IG reports listing thousands of times it's been abused. And most important lawsuits can't be brought challenging the Constitutionality because the government will not let the facts of the cases come to light ...sighting government "national security" claims.

a little reading for you;

Newsvine - In 1995 Joe Biden Basically Wrote The PATRIOT Act.

BBCW: Joe Biden, Father of the Patriot Act: Another Member of Obama's Cast Creating the American Police State

as i said, biden wrote the basic act in 1995. it was introduced by daschle in 2001, but the fact remains that biden authored the original act that the 2001 bill was based on.

Sen. Biden did cosponsor the bill that Sen. Daschle introduced, along with 24 other cosponsors. If you want to believe Sen. Biden wrote the bill six years prior to when it was introduced by Sen. Daschle, I do not see what difference it makes.

all i know is that biden is the one claiming to have written the basic bill in 1995. until you can refute that claim, i will choose to believe that, since the evidence points in that direction.

Therein is the problem. Sen. Biden is notorious for plagiarizing the work of others. So if he claims he wrote it, then it was most likely written by someone else. In either case, what difference does it make who wrote the bill? It has been amended several times and is now law.

They call for o ethig and if a attack comes will take quite the opposite view o blame. That is noraml really for a article from a liberal newspaper. Notice how easy it was for Obam to vote against raise the deficit ubnder Bush. Then now things change when you are responsible ;not just makig political points against the oppostion.I find it hard to argue with success with no further attacks since 9-11 and certainly the pail compared to those in WWII;when there was little chnace of a attack on the mainland.
