As far as I know, michelle had nothing to do with the 'plate' nutrition thing, so don't blame that on her. She was only there for the rollout.

Can't ask for more than this in a First Lady.
OMG get off it! Wow kool-aid drinkers look out this ones got it bad!
Actually I believe Nancy Reagan was the MOST scrutinized 1st Lady!

she's a good First Lady, but she's nowhere near an Eleanor Roosevelt or Lady Bird Johnson.

First ladies are irrelevant. Nobody votes for them. We're just stuck with them sort of like Vice Presidents.

I'm not certain whether Michelle is the absolute best First Lady in all of history, but I know I really like having her in that role.

However, I do think this poll itself is sort of stupid, because it uses a very simple minor accomplishment of Michelle Obama (a new nutritional chart) as a basis for asking whether she is the "best" First Lady in all of history.

Totally lame.

By the way ... there is already another thread discussing this new food chart.

She's probably around 165 lbs, which is well within the healthy range for her height. The taller a person gets, the more they will inevitably weigh and still keep within a very healthy range. I'm a woman who is 6'1 and when I weighed my highest (215lbs) I was still a comfortable size 11, which is well below the average in the US.

I do agree with the race stuff, but in general black women DO have a different body type than white, asian or latinas. While it may not be necessarily attractive to you, it doesn't make it automatically unhealthy or bad.
