Boy you need to get out a little more. Many communities in the Southeast are quite diversified and I know many Christians that wear stars of David for various reasons. Of course she was wearing it in NY not GA or did you not get that part of the short story.

How does anyone take this nutbar seriously? What does that say about her supporters?
Actually, classless is attacking Palin about some "I don't really remember what she said, and it may have been bad, but I know it was terrible because she said it" comment.

I am amazed at the obsession the left has with Palin, keeping her in the spotlight, all the while shrieking that she's in the spotlight.

That Star of David around Palin's neck is there for Christian Evangelicals (not NYC Jews, FFS- that's high-larious. Like a Jew would ever vote for Palin ).

By wearing that symbol, Palin is doggie-whistling to her fellow Christian Whacko fanatics, who believe the rise of modern Zion was prophecized in the bible, and plays an important role in the end times.

Of course, these same big supporters of Israel ALSO believe that, when Jesus comes back swinging his big ol' firey sword, all the Jews must renounce their faith and accept Christ as The Son of God, or be condemned to eternal hellfire!!!

But there's plenty of time to get into that unpleasentness later. Meanwhile, it's "Yay Jews! Get them Muslims! Great speech, Bibi!"

This is a great source; it explains "dominionism" and its history in America.
These people are seditious and un-American...and they know it.

[quote]
The theocratic right seeks to establish dominion, or control over society in the name of God. The late D. James Kennedy, former pastor of Coral Ridge Ministries, called on his followers to exercise "godly dominion ... over every aspect ... of human society." At a "Reclaiming America for Christ" conference in February, 2005, Kennedy said:
"Our job is to reclaim America for Christ, whatever the cost. As the vice regents of God, we are to exercise godly dominion and influence over our neighborhoods, our schools, our government, our literature and arts, our sports arenas, our entertainment media, our news media, our scientific endeavors -- in short, over every aspect and institution of human society."
Twenty-five years ago, dominionists targeted the Republican Party as the vehicle through which they could advance their agenda. At the same time, a small group of Republican strategists targeted fundamentalist, Pentecostal and charismatic churches to expand the base of the Republican Party. This web site is not about traditional Republicans or conservative Christians. It is about the manipulation of people of a certain faith for political power. It is about the rise of dominionists in the U.S. federal government.
Today's hard right seeks total dominion. It's packing the courts and rigging the rules. The target is not the Democrats but democracy itself. [end quote]

I think it was "blood ritual" or some equally inappropriate phrase.

And being such a clueless narcissist, she said it in relation to herself, not Congresswoman Giffords

This is part of hardcore right wing ideology.

Israel = USA ...to be patriotic you must revere Israel as much as the USA.

it was "Blood Libel"

Quote:

'Blood libel' has particular, painful meaning to Jewish people
The phrase used by Sarah Palin against her detractors usually refers to the false accusations made for centuries against Jews, often to malign them as child killers — and sometimes leading to massacres of their communities.
