What it has caused? You mean nice, clean, safe, low crime areas to live? I can't imagine why people would prefer that to living in some high density urban cesspool.

I live in a high density urban area, that is a magnet for highly successful people. Quite safe, and rather charming.

e: Montgomery County, MD and Fairfax County, Prince William County, and Loudoun County, VA are all counties that are affluent and vote largely liberal Democrat with huge sprawl.

Those suburbs have access to public transportation.They are not completly car dependent.
