At .40 - .44 Patti Labelle walks from left to right in the video escorted by her security thugs.
According to the Houston Chronicle report, Dana King, a former airport operations security officer who was on duty at the airport -- and no relation to the victim, said he witnessed the incident. "This kid was not a threat to anyone... The guy was there with a cellphone to his ear. LaBelle's bunch was up there, standing at the rear of the limo," he said. "... Her window came down, and this guy comes over to elbow-shove him. His head hit that concrete, and after that he was basically a zombie."

I say again where was she DURING THE ATTACK? how do you know she had ANY INVOLVEMENT in it? from .40 to when the ex cadet drunkenly scatters away WHERE IS THE MAIN DEFENDANT OF THIS MANS LAWSUIT?
Looked at the entire video and agree that the kid was not acting aggressive towards LaBelle's crew. I think the cause for concern was not that he was near her luggage (others passed by in the video), but rather that he chilling out by it (I presume waiting for his ride). Of course celebrities don't own the sidewalk, but I'm sure many will agree that standing too long next to a car carrying a celebrity can sometimes be a cause for concern.
The guy was probably irritated waiting on his ride and when the guards told him to get away from the luggage and then pushed him back, he responded by pushing with a bit more force and they took him down.
The whole scene was not good for the bodyguards. They overreacted and while I disagree that they "beat him down" (some people love the drama ), they did use unnecessary force. THEY, should be sued, not Patti. I think the fact that the cadet is targeting LaBelle makes his motives suspicious. If two guys gave me a concussion, I'd want THEM to pay, not their bosses.

Thats how you make a point
If he sued the BODYGUARDS and pursued CRIMINAL charges against them I would have no issue with this.

I agree with you all the way up until LaBelle wasn't responsible. She employed them and they wouldn't be there if it wasn't for her. The were "on the clock" when this occurred and just like in any other situation the employer would be at fault too, even if the employer was technically in another state and barely oversaw the actions of its employees.
In the normal world that means HE GOT KICKED OUT..
But it right winger-ville what does it mean when you are removed and no longer allowed to attend a place against your choice?
But he's still there....

But, West Point has suspended King for at least one year and ordered he go on active duty after Houston police reported the incident to the academy, according to the Associated Press.
I really hate having to educate people....
