All I am saying is that they have the exact same policies, so I'm not sure why there are all these debates on one versus the other. I know it makes for fun talking points to talk about net job growth during one presidency versus the other. In all seriousness, the economy is in shambles.

Bush was a miser compared to Obama.

The stock market is at least 50% higher now than it was when Bush left office, and we've been gaining jobs every month for at least a year - as opposed to the last year of Bush where we were losing hundreds of thousands of jobs every month.

Things are still rough, but we're definitely on a better track than we were in 2008.

Bush was a horrific president and the bashing he receives is rightfully deserved. The Obama bashing is just typical hate from the right that hate anyone that doesn't have an (R) next to their name, especially a black man.

Yikes you are not suggesting the DOW is any indicator of economic health are you?

Sure the economy is better than the nadir of the recession but nowhere near where it should be after adding trillions to the deficit in an attempt to keep it afloat. Let me put it to you this way. Do you think your argument will be a winning one. 2012? Hey we spent trillions and we are pretty much in the same position we were before we starter.

This board is slipping. It took an entire 4 replies before someone wielded the Race Card.

Yep, very little difference between the two. He is basically the third term of George Bush and we don't need a fourth term which is why several people from within the democratic party need to step up and run against Obama.

Yes, I am. The stock market is a leading indicator. It doesn't represent the majority of the economy, obviously, but it's a measure of how investors feel about the future. Right now, investors are much more confident about the future than they were in the fall of 2008.
