Default Whites do not discriminate against blacks at these schools

I'm not going to even bother addressing this ridiculous question. Only racists question the necessity and merits of "diversity." You have a problem with black people, their culture, and their quest for equality against the backwards behavior and beliefs of racists, that is indeed your problem. Society, on the other hand, continues to move towards addressing this problem. Any mechanism that allows black people to advance their education is good for at one time, this was forbidden.

Way to exclude yourself from serious consideration in future discussions.

A_Lexus, who starts endless troll threads and then never returns to debate, says that I wil be excluded from serious conversation?

You can't have a serious discussion with A_Lexus because he/she is so far out of touch with reality it's hard to belive that he/she lives on planet Earth.

Nobody can have a serious discussion with A_Lexus unless they belive that Obama has done a wonderful job even thoug it's been proven that he's a total disaster.

Nobody can have a serious discussion with A_Lexus unless they belive that any and all opposition to Obama or anything he does is due to racism.

It would almost be comical to read the posts of A_Lexus if it were'nt so sad and pathetic to see that there are people in our country that actually think this way.

One day people will realize that there is no point in giving serious thought to questions like this. This is just the age old trick of trying to deflect one's own racist mentality onto the affected group. HBCU's are here for good reason. Not to mention that many whites attend these schools and receive minority scholarships for doing so.

What is that good reason? If diversity is so important aren't these students missing out on the benefits of it?

Yes the do. I would venture to say that HBCUs give more scholorships to white students than they do black... does that make them racists as well?

Miss America pageant founded in 1921...

In 1935, Talent was added to the competition. At the time, non-white women were barred from competing, a restriction that was codified in the pageant's "Rule number seven," which stated that "contestants must be of good health and of the white race." No African American women participated until 1970
Its important to understand the complete reasons ethnic organizations were founded...restriction to participation.

Comments like this give the impression that you are simply being facetious.

I always notice that non Blacks who ask these kinds of questions never want to discuss the role that racism and segregation played in the creation of these schools.

But to humor you for a minute, these students are not missing out on diversity in the least. First because non Black students attend these schools. i notice you are conveniently ignoring this fact.

Second, school is not the only place you get diversity. Diversity is EVERYWHERE: school. church, employment, etc.

Some people just don't want to see Black people succeed or have ANYTHING. And they try to cover this up by screaming reverse racism or the like. It really is a very tired argument. Don't waste your time. You know you don't care about these students and their diversity.
