I, am very disappointed. And angry at the gutless Dems who have basically pushed the man out! Gotta give it to the Republicans who stand by their members regardless of what he/she does...........or course Dems would cave because, among others, a porn queen got on TV to trash him, rather than supporting one of their strongest members who has the courage to fight for the powerless folks out there!

What a huge and pointless loss.

The Republicans stick by their own more than the Dems. You don't see Mitch McConnell telling Vitter to resign. You don't see Boehner telling Ken Calvert to resign. In fact, Mark Foley's returning to politics this year to run for mayor of West Palm Beach and he's recieved a pretty warm welcome from the Palm Beach County GOP.

True. It was a popularity contest, too, with the Dems; they obviously were uncomfortable with the Congressman's outspoken ways regarding important issues. I think Obama should have kept his opinions to himself about Weiner, OR he should have stood up and really backed the things he said he would support when running for President, as Weiner would have done!

So Foley is getting back into politics already. Of course, giving out photos of yourself to consenting adults on the Internet is far worse than being a pedophile.
