"Carville said the consequences aren’t limited to politics alone. He warned of heightened risk of civil unrest with the bleak economic picture. 'You know, look — this is a humanitarian — you know, you’re smart enough to see this,' Carville said. 'People, you know, if it continues, we’re going to start to see civil unrest in this country. I hate to say that, but I think it’s imminently possible.'”

James Carville | Obama | The Daily Caller

How come when Glenn Beck said this months ago it was called fear-mongering by the media? I don't see anyone calling Carville a fear-mongerer for saying the same thing.

Obama's goal is to trigger civil unrest so that he can declare martial law and cancel the 2012 elections. Don't believe me? Explain his economic policies! What other end game is there?

The revolutionaries of the far left are chomping at the bit for uprisings the likes of the Middle East right here in the lower 48 (or Obama's 57).

I would not put too much stock into Mr. Carville's abilty as a seer. I believe his last book opined that this country would be ruled by Democrats for the next forty years.

Carville meant "ruined", not "ruled".

He probably meant progressives and he was right.

I am sure the book's title was simply a typo, then.

You don't see a difference because you couldn't distinguish what drives such statements. The difference is in use of emotion versus logic. Fear can be sold on both grounds. Ask yourself, which one is using emotions?

Glenn gets emotional because he truly loves his country....Carville is a harder nut but those words coming from Carville should reinforce what Glenn has been saying for sometime now...bartering will become the new currency just like in our founding fathers day.

Martial law? Wow! It's never too early for bible-thumping, gun-toting, anti-intellectual white guys to gather together in barricaded compounds to fight off the evil forces.
