Excellently put.
It is really just a matter of the anti-life trying to convince themselves that that beating heart belongs to some subhuman being.

As for it being "legal, so it doesn't matter," I suppose many of you would have been fine
in the 1940s when some Germans were enacting that Final Solution.
It was legal, after all.

Carry on.

A 10 week fetus IS. NOT. A. CHILD. Just because YOU believe it to be so, doesn't make it a FACT for everyone.

Another judgment call? Who says women "rush" to abort?

Cripes, even Roe v. Wade admitted the state has an interest in the potentiality of human life.

We are ONE nation and should act as such. Govenment is government no matter how some want to view it or claim there is a difference bewteen Federal or State level government. The government has no business in a medical procedure sanctioned by the medical field.

exactly. we are one country where we all are equal, the laws are for everyone and a state doesn't get to back out of it because some of their citizens don't like it. why would it matter if it was the feds or the state enforcing the law, it doesn't matter unless of course you want to exclude people from their civil rights.

I cant address every concern you have with abortion or speak for the "pro-abortion" crowd...I am speaking to the reasoning come to by the justices of the US Supreme Court making abortion legal.

At this point in time in our country's history, the court with help from present scientific and medical professional opinion, viable life is at 24 weeks of gestation. That is the Law.

The Roe majority ruling of 1973 holds that the government has a legitimate interest in protecting potential human life, but that this does not become a "compelling" state interest--overriding the woman's Fourteenth Amendment right to privacy, and her subsequent right to terminate her pregnancy--until the point of viability, then assessed at 24 weeks.
I think the meaning is a bit different...

3. Provide real sex eduction in Jr. High on up.

This would truly lower the rate.

But the right doesn't want that really....they love the ego boost from pointing fingers and being religious scolds.
Exactly what is "real sex education" and if you had a daughter would you want her being involved in it?
