It's funny when I read the OPs initial post I immediately understood which media he was referring to, the national media.
Yet the response from one of the black apologists to refute this claim was to post a stream of local reports. The problem is of national scope and needs to be reported nationally so good citizens can protect themselves from bands of maruding black men.
When I hear "civil unrest", I think Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, America in the 60's. I don't equate bored punk-ass teenagers mugging people for iPods as "civil unrest". More like crappy kids with crappy parents.
You see we're so used to reading about this type of violence that the shock and awe factor is gone.
"Just another violent outburst" and then we move on to other news.

There are reported cases where they swarm a business and destroy everything inside and steal the merchandise. It's not just mugging an iPod, not when there is a crowd of people "going wild".
