sorry to inform you, but the only thing truly republican about bush was his party affiliation. true republicans believe in smaller government, not bigger. bush was a RINO like mccain.

I can understand why a lot of Republicans would want this to be true, given how much of a failure Bush was as a President. However, the GOP during most of the first six years of his administration had control of the House and Senate as well. The Republican agenda was imposed on the country almost at will. Even when Bush had approval ratings in the 20s, he still had overwhelming majority support from Republicans.

Now, if you're trying to say that Bush and almost the entirety of the GOP is not as conservative or as libertarian as you would have liked, that's an entirely different argument that I couldn't disagree on, but Bush followed almost every single aspect of the Republican Party platform to the T during the vast majority of his presidency. Just because it wound up being disastrous for the country, both domestically and in the global arena, does not mean that Bush was not a typical Republican.

Well, it's been 2 years...where most complaints have the outcome in about 6 months. What was the outcome?
The California Bar acts slow, especially when they perceive this as being some political protest. They probably don't want to get denunciations of chilling free speech. But just because Orly Taitz has not been disbarred yet, does not mean that she shouldn't have been disbarred for her numerous gross acts of misconduct two years ago.
