The top 1% of the wealthiest Americans own 90% of the country's wealth. I don't feel bad for rich people if they get taxed at a higher rate.

Actually 10% of the population owned 71% of the wealth and the top 1% owned 38%.

It's kind of like an ice cream shop charging more or less for two scoops of rocky road based on your income. I'd imagine that customers might have a problem with that.
